AMIDST ALL THIS CHAOS DON’T FORGET TO TAKE OUT TIME FOR YOURSELF! YOU’RE JUST LIKE A PLANT, AND YOU NEED TO WATER TO GROW EVERYDAY
“Success as a counsellor is not found in doing something for the client, but rather in being something for the client.” - Ili Rivera Walter
That is what I aim to be - a part of my client’s success journey.
The above mentioned quote summarizes the essence of my professional being very aptly.
I am a coveted member of The Counsellors Council of India and Senior Psychologist at Mental Peace Clinic.
My Counselling journey afforded me the opportunity to develop new therapeutic skills and expand on personal attributes vital to the therapeutic process. I provide consultation for Career Counselling, Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Adolescent or Teenage Counselling, Couple / Relationship Counselling, Marriage and Family Counselling, PTSD Counselling and Anger Management.
During my work at leading psychological consultation facilities, I interact with and assisted at-risk youth through individual, family, and group counselling on issues ranging from depression and anger management to interpersonal relationship difficulties and substance abuse.
I believe that “Our lives don’t get better by chance. They get better by change.” Counselling and Guidance, I believe are the catalysts to this change.
“True guidance is like a small torch in a dark forest. It doesn't show everything once. But gives enough light for the next step to be safe” -Swami Vivekananda
Guidance in all its forms is crucial for one’s existence. Human life is an ode to a journey that starts at birth, flourishes abundantly under the guidance from the surroundings, from parents, from peers, and from teachers.
For me, Guidance is the true purpose of Counselling. Counselling is not just about offering solutions or creating options. Rather, it is to enable each individual to understand their own emotions and thought processes, so that they can make informed decisions and choices.
Through my counselling efforts, I want to lead my client on the path that is ideal and beneficial for them.
I have always found myself interacting and engaging with people – offering advice, suggestions, solutions or sometimes just a perspective to ease things out and bring some clarity into the picture.
For In my opinion, balance is the key to success. We all would be at ease, if we learn to balance our emotions with the practicalities of life. However, this is an ongoing process and one needs to be patient with oneself in trying to create such a state.
My main focus lies in “Emotional Empowerment” i.e. helping my clients to feel connected and in charge of their emotional states and lives.
ONCE YOU TO REPLACE NEGATIVE THOUGHTS WITH POSITIVE ONES, YOU’LL START SEEING POSITIVE RESULTS
