COMBAT HARD TIMES

Living through unusual and trying times, look at the brighter side.

The idea of looking at brighter side during unusual times may seem like a far-fetched idea. With a military of emotions competing in our heads as a response to the various on-goings, it’s difficult to expect our mind to focus or concentrate on one thing. But, for your own psychological well- being, it’s better to combat the negative with a positive.

When we replace negative thought with positive one, and that’s the point where gratitude comes in. It doesn’t matter how small it is, the time to say thanks for little things that bring joy to you is now more than ever. If you ever feel low, take some time to acknowledge your moments of gratitude, Count your blessings, Jot down the list of things you are thankful for.

Spend time with family and friends, is what will help you to get through this time. Turn your thoughts into action, instead of living in a state of constant mood, take matters into your own hand by putting your thoughts or feelings on paper or on digital, wherever you feel comfortable with. But do not get stuck in a fluctuating path of feelings, spiral yourself with hope of better. There will be certain expectations that you will have to let go of..

Practice little kindness towards yourself. Be thankful that you’re fortunate enough to learn the lessons this situation has to teach and be capable of creating a better tomorrow. .
